Let me start by saying that this is not your usual overpriced, overbearing burger shop. Rhea's is the real deal - the place you go to get a perfectly balanced burger without all of the frills of today's overpriced burger joints.
Burger: I ordered the Rhea's Special Cheeseburger, double patty, with bacon with all the fixings. It is served on French bread. Hold the judgement until you try it! The thin patties are perfectly cooked with seared edges but without foregoing juiciness. The veggies are fresh, and the condiments plentiful.
Fries and Drink: The fries are crinkle cut, and nicely crunchy. All tables have those old-school squeeze bottle ketchups that dispense fine streams of ketchup to coat the fries, or provide a nice accompaniment to the burger. Also, the drinks are served with ice that has the consistency of shaved ice - it melts in your mouth as your are drinking your soda or tea.
Ambiance: This is not a fancy place. You don't need to go here to be seen. You go here for a damn good burger. There's nothing pretty about this place. It reminds me of my days in the Navy eating in the galley on the ship. Nothing is fancy and all the condiments are at the table. You go here to eat and leave! It's not a sit-down, stay awhile kind of spot.
The Rhea's Special Cheeseburger is less than $5. With fries and a drink, you can be out the door for less than $10. Give it a try! It's worth a stop to experience old-school diner-like burgers. Thanks Rhea's! -

I like the burgers and have been going there for years but today when a customer pointed out a roach bug crawling on the counter jimmy flew off the handle and then cussed him after he left.
After reading some reviews evidently the roach has been living good off the burgers since 2015
The place is filthy I think Jimmy needs to retire.
4 stars because the burgers are really good but I won't be going back because I'm grossed out now, I keep seeing the roach looking out at me from his hiding spot under the bread. -

A solid burger for a great price.
I've been eating at this Rhea's location for about fifteen years and just remembered that I should review it. After all, with all the uppity burger places now at Avalon, then people should know there are other alternatives that don't cost $20 for a burger without the fries and hand-made ketchup.
Like everyone has said in their reviews; This place is no frills, no BS, and not decorated like a reclaimed lumber-lover's heaven. It's just a strip mall with **** parking and one helluva burger.
I'll be back because I always end up back at Rhea's when I'm in Roswell. -

I came here on a weeknight, sat at the bar, and was the only one for a little while. Literally the only one. There were no employees there either and the guy that did everything came about 5 minutes after I arrived from outside. He took my order, made it, and collected payment. the guy was also really nice. About 15 minutes later, another customer arrived, also a solo diner.
Now onto the food. I got a Cheeseburger on french bread and fries. It tasted and looked a bit like a thick patty melt. The meat was good, but had that oily taste that you would expect from the flat grill that it was made on. I was able to observe the whole thing. The crinkle fries were just okay as well and I was not impressed. -

We had take out last night. Burgers were delicious and juicy.
The stores are owned by a Bangladeshi gentleman and we have been coming for a while
Service is good. I wish the burgers had a bit more spice to it
Fries are ho hum and I wouldn't order the fries again
Burgers are definitely recommended and good portion size as well
We will definitely be back as usual
